School teachers training

School is a useful platform for students to learn new knowledge, acquire skills and get inspiration to change behavior. School teachers play crucial role in educating communities and driving social campaigns. Pesticide use in the communities is also one of the important social issues. Also suicidal attempts by adolescent are increasing with the use of pesticides since they are easily available at home and can also be bought from the market without prescription. School teachers could be one of the major information sources to reach to students, their parents and wider communities to aware them about adverse effects of pesticides and its safe handling. Therefore, we provided training to them to motivate them to practice pesticide free farming and convey the message to students and parents.
