Sensitization Programs

These are mainly target to create awareness among larger public and consumers about the harmful effects of chemical pesticides in foods and ways to reduce its harm.

1. Street drama focused to larger groups of people and consumers, they were mostly conducted in public places, vegetable markets.
2. School health programs through mobilization of school teachers to help students learn about harmful effects of pesticides in foods and how they can contribute to its reduction. Students participated in speech competition, practical demonstration, and were the audience at street dramas for participatory learning. The objective was also that they communicate the message to their parents and neighbors too for safer productions and consumptions.
